Pricing Structure
Our service prices are based on the experience, training, and skill level of each stylist. This tiered system ensures you receive the right expertise to suit your needs.
Consultations
We’re always happy to provide a consultation and personalised quote before beginning any service. This helps us align expectations and avoid surprises, as we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. If the end result does not match what was agreed during the consultation, we will take reasonable steps to adjust or rectify it.
Satisfaction Policy
If you are not happy with the result of your service, we are happy to offer a complimentary re-do within 7 days of the original appointment. This allows us the opportunity to address any concerns and ensure the result aligns with what was agreed during the consultation.
Please note that styling services are excluded from this policy, as factors such as weather conditions, sleep, daily activities, pillow friction, and at-home maintenance can affect the longevity and appearance of the style. For this reason, re-dos are not offered on styling alone.
All re-do requests must be made within the 7-day period, and reasonable adjustments will be made at our discretion
Discounts
We offer the following discounts to all services
Students 10% off (must provide valid and current student ID upon payment, failure to show student card will result in no discount)
Refer a friend 20% off (must present the refer-a-friend card that was provided by the salon)
Seniors 20% off
Non-Discountable Services
Certain services are excluded from discounts, including post-colour blow-dries, specialised techniques, additional styling and treatments. Promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
Sundays & Public Holidays
Due to increased staffing costs, no discounts apply on Sundays or Public Holidays. All services on these days attract a 10% surcharge.
Deposits
To secure appointments, a deposit is required for new clients, online bookings, and all specialty services. Deposits are non-refundable if our cancellation terms are not followed (see Cancellation Policy below).
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours, or missed appointments, will result in the deposit being forfeited. If no deposit was taken, a cancellation or no-show fee will be charged to the card stored on file.
Payment & Card on File
By booking with Chroma Hair & Co, you consent to your payment details being securely stored. Your card may be used to:
– Take the required deposit at the time of booking
– Charge fees relating to cancellations or no-shows
– Settle the balance at the end of your appointment
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash, Afterpay (T&Cs apply), and other major payment solutions. Some card types may incur a small merchant surcharge. Any transaction fees charged by the payment provider will be passed through to the customer.
Appointment Confirmations
We send reminders by SMS or email ahead of your appointment. Chroma Hair & Co reserves the right to cancel appointments that are not confirmed.
Electrical Styling Tools
For warranty purposes, customers must register their electrical styling tools directly with the manufacturer. If you experience issues with a product such as ghd hot tools, please contact the brand’s customer service team for assistance.
Refunds & Exchanges
Retail products that are unopened and in original condition may be exchanged within 7 days when returned to the salon of purchase with proof of purchase. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
